STATdb consists of various features, see alongside, which comprises of data visualization, analysis and community contribution. STATdb is integrated with sequence analysis and similarity search tools such as BLAST, on the fly multiple sequence alignment and also includes prediction of unknown or novel STAT proteins. The data included has been obtained from the public databases and annotated with experimental status, domain sequences, domain architecture and STATdb classification which integrates STAT domain architecture, species lineage and function.
