Epidemiological data on pathogens were obtained from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), World Health Organization (WHO), National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) PubMed, and NCBI Nucleotide databases. Whole genome references, annotations, genes, and proteins were downloaded from the NCBI and the WormBase ParaSite (WBP) databases.
