简介：该基因编码IAP蛋白家族的一个成员，通过结合肿瘤坏死因子受体相关因子traf1和traf2抑制凋亡，可能通过干扰类冰蛋白酶的激活。编码的蛋白质抑制血清剥夺诱导的细胞凋亡，但不影响细胞凋亡，暴露于甲萘醌，一个强有力的诱导自由基。它包含3个杆状病毒IAP重复序列和一个环指域。编码相同亚型的转录变体已经被鉴定出来。This gene encodes a member of the IAP family of proteins that inhibit apoptosis by binding to tumor necrosis factor receptor-associated factors TRAF1 and TRAF2, probably by interfering with activation of ICE-like proteases. The encoded protein inhibits apoptosis induced by serum deprivation but does not affect apoptosis resulting from exposure to menadione, a potent inducer of free radicals. It contains 3 baculovirus IAP repeats and a ring finger domain. Transcript variants encoding the same isoform have been identified.
