简介：该基因是活化T细胞（NFAT）家族的核心因子之一该基因的产物是一个具有rel同源区（rhr）和nfat同源区（nhr）的dna结合蛋白。该蛋白存在于胞浆中，在T细胞受体（TCR）刺激下仅向细胞核转运，成为活化T细胞转录复合物的核因子之一这种复合物在免疫应答过程中诱导基因转录起中心作用已鉴定出编码不同亚型的交替转录剪接变体。[由RefSeq提供，2012年4月]This gene is a member of the nuclear factor of activated T cells (NFAT) family. The product of this gene is a DNA-binding protein with a REL-homology region (RHR) and an NFAT-homology region (NHR). This protein is present in the cytosol and only translocates to the nucleus upon T cell receptor (TCR) stimulation, where it becomes a member of the nuclear factors of activated T cells transcription complex. This complex plays a central role in inducing gene transcription during the immune response. Alternate transcriptional splice variants encoding different isoforms have been characterized.
